Module 'Internship'

XXX - Aim of the module: it is aimed that a student gets acquainted with the police organisation and with the job of a border guard officer, consolidates his/her knowledge and skills in order to carry out border control and patrol and surveillance activities, and to conduct misdemeanour proceedings in the presence of the most common misdemeanours.
After completing the module a student:
• knows the structure of the Police and Border Guard and its organisation of work and main tasks, and has an overview of the job of a border guard officer;
• knows the work at a border guard station and at a border crossing point and fulfils the tasks of different border patrols when carrying out border guarding activities on land;
• conducts proceedings for the most common misdemeanour matters.
The capacity of the module of internship has been decreased by 1 EVEC; the study outcomes of the internship are partly achieved by increasing practical activities in the modules of professional communication, weapons study, self-defence and tactics, and in the module of sea border.
