Module 'The Basic Course in Community Policing'

XX - Aim of the module: it is aimed that a student has an overview of the basics of regional policing and the problems connected with the police’s right of intervention.
After completing the course a student:
• can draw a line between real life situations in police work and the legal bottlenecks in state supervision proceedings, and can suggest solutions;
• knows the principles and organisation of regional policing and of the work of juvenile police;
• knows the principles of treating children;
• knows the tendencies of the spread of violence and the types of the latter, is familiar with the possibilities for helping victims and influencing abusers;
• knows the causes of violence and its influence on children.
