Module 'Resolving Laborious Incidents'

XXX- - -Aim of the module: it is aimed that a student knows his/her role, and that he/she can resolve resourceful situations according to his/her competence.
After completing the module a student:
• has an overview of the definitions of different emergency situations and of the principles of emergency response according to the Emergency Act;
• knows the principles of resolving resourceful incidents (incl. legal bases for leading and for doing cooperation);
• knows the initial tactics for solving emergency situations and can implement them (when eliminating sudden attacks, solving hostage crisis, resolving incidents of major disorder, carrying out a search to find people and objects on land);
• when resolving resourceful incidents cooperates with other units of the PBGB (negotiators, special units, service dog handlers, etc.)
• is familiar with the structure of the SAR-system, with its co-operational principles, and with the self-rescue and rescue equipment used on water bodies, and can also use them;
• can use a compass and GPS equipment for orientation.
