| General description |
To shape in the students the ability to analyze the statistics of
crime, and based on this analysis to be able to design factors for combating criminal
behavior. |

Is able to use the data bases of crime and police statistics;
Is able to analyze the connections of social statistics with crime;
Is able to carry out research by analyzing violations of law and criminal events;
Is able to predict the measures of combating different violations of law and types
of crime on the basis of the local statistics;
Is able to assess the efficiency of the countermeasures of deviating behavior and
crime;
Is familiar with the principles of social prognostics. |
