To develop in the students the skills to independently and
creatively formulate and solve the problems and research issues related to his or her
specialty with appropriate methods, thereby creating a new knowledge. |

Is able to conduct scientific and applied research, to analyze and interpret the
results thereof, and to independently formulate and solve problems;
Is able to synthesize the empirical and theoretical way of treatment with the help
of scientific methods;
Is able to supervise different researches and to carry out analyses regarding the
trends and indicators influencing the area of internal security;
Is able to continue his or her studies in the Doctoral study both in Estonia and on
an international level. |
