Subject 'Formation of the Policy of the Area of Internal Security and Functioning of the System'

To provide the students with an overview of the system and
the structure of internal security and of the principles of operation of agencies as well as
with the skill to analyze the relevant policy.

Is familiar with the system and the structure of internal security and is able to
analyze the principles and the mechanisms of action and development;

Has an overview of the organizations related to the area of internal security and
the principles of their operation in the European Union;

Is able to evaluate the influence of different policies and strategies on the daily
work and on achievement of goals of the agencies of internal security;

Is familiar with the main strategies determining internal security policy;

Is able to assess the risks and the threats of internal security to essential
infrastructures;

Is able to formulate and channel his or her proposals for directing internal
security policy;

Is able to take into account different strategies upon planning the state budget;

Is able to adequately evaluate the relations between the agencies of the state, of
the society, of policy, of law and of internal security
