To provide an overview of the main topics of the philosophy
of contemporary science;

Study outcome

Understands the scientific and philosophical bases of research work;
Is familiar with the methods used in different sciences;
Is familiar with the social problems related to science and technology;
Is familiar with the essential theories of philosophy of science and the criticism
thereof;
Is able to work independently with the texts of philosophy of science;
