General descriptionTo provide the students with the more widely spread theories
of prevention work and with the standards of planning a safe living environment and with the ability to take the necessary preventive measures based on the special character of the work of the agencies of internal security; Study outcomeIs familiar with the theories prevailing in prevention work and with the standards
of planning a safe living environment; Understands the different possibilities for the prevention of emergencies (social, technical, administrative, political, legal, economic and natural environment based); Is familiar with the preventive measures arising from the specific nature of the work of the police, rescue service, border guard, prison, customs and other agencies of internal security; Is able to implement strategic and tactical measures and means for prevention of threats and risks in his or her area of activity; Is aware of the possibilities of promulgating a preventive way of thinking in the society and knows how to approach target groups; Is able to involve cooperation partners for the creation, design and implementation of preventive measures; Is able to create and conduct training programs necessary in the program of studies of internal security; Is able to plan and account for expenditures made for prevention work and to analyze the performance of the prevention work.
