Subject 'Master's seminar'

To develop in the students the skills of public presentation and
debate in the area of their Master’s thesis and to enable a discussion on the topic of the
thesis.

Is able to analyze the research materials, to compare different theoretical points of
view and to formulate generalizations;

Is familiar with the main measures of rhetoric and argumentation;

Is able to describe the ways of demagogy and the possibilities of emotional and
linguistic influencing;

Is able to participate in a scientific discussion and to explain the research problem
both orally and in writing;

Is able to present the results of the research and to draw conclusions on the basis
thereof, providing suggestions for their implementation.
